Bollywood super star actor and Kolkata Knight Riders team’s owner ShahRukh Khan was banned on Friday from entering Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium for the five years.
Mumbai Cricket Association president ‘Vilasrao Deshmukh’ said”, ShahRukh’s unapologetic behaviour after an altercation with MCA officials at the stadium on Wednesday had left the association with no other option but to ban him.
“Khan has no regrets about his action or behaviour. In fact he justified the action of manhandling the security guards and threatening MCA officials,” Vilasrao Deshmukh, the father of actor ‘Riteish Deshmukh’, told in report.
“The managing committee is forced to ban ShahRukh Khan from entering Wankhede Stadium Mumbai for next five years,” he added.
A police complaint has been registered against the khan for voluntarily causing hurt and for criminal intimidation – because this is a non-cognizable offence, SRK as he is known cannot be arrested. The police will study all the statements made so far by everyone involved in the incident, including eyewitnesses, to chalk out the exact sequence of events and then will corroborate it with CCTV footage from stadium. The MCA reportedly reviewed the footage before announcing its decision today.
SRK said on Thursday that he was provoked after security guards touched a group of children he was accompanying, which included his daughter. Photographs of the brawl show his daughter, holding his arm as he confronts officials and the guard. The MCA says that the actor should recognize that officials showed “great restraint” in how they handled the situation. “If anybody behaves like this…whosoever it may be…action will be taken,” Mr Deshmukh said. He also said that while the actor has said he was trying to protect children, no complaint has been registered by ShahRukh Khan against the guards or officials.

Honda, which ended a 26 year joint venture with indian company Hero MotoCorp in March of last year in an $851 million deal, has announced fresh investment worth 20 billion rupees ($373 million) since then as it looks to chase down its former partner, the current market leader.
Honda President and CEO ‘Keita Muramatsu’ told in Report, “In the Previous fiscal, Indian motorcycle and scooter business contributed 13 percent to Honda’s two-wheeler revenue. We want this to go up to 30 percent by 2020. We will introduce more mass segment bikes in order to compete with rivals in rural locations there is a scope for launching more affordable and low-cost bikes in India. We may develop bikes for a segment lower than Dream Yuga,” Muramatsu added.

Delhi Daredevils won the toss and elected to bowl against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL clash at the Ferozeshah Kotla Stadiumdelhion Thursday
While the Daredevils have already secured a berth for the playoffs, they would not line to be complacent against the Royal Challengers Bangalore who are yet to make it to the top four slot.
The Royal Challengers have 15 points from 14 games and also have a negative net run rate.
Delhi Daredevils can afford to play without any pressure and that is even more dangerous forBangalore, who need to win their last two matches to qualify for the knockout stage.
What tilts the balance inDelhi’s favour is that apart from a strong and in-form batting, comprising of skipper Virender Sehwag, David Warner and Jayawardene, the team has a much stronger bowling attack, led by pacers Umesh Yadav, Morne Morkel and Varun Aaron.
If Royal Challengers lose againstDelhion Thursday, they can only hope to end with 17 points from 16 matches and that won’t be enough for them to stay in the top four because of a negative run rate.
The Royal Challengers have some strong hitters batsman in their team and their batting alone can take the match away from the Delhi Daredevils, who have a much balanced team.
Royal Challengers openers Dilshan and Gayle have been in brilliant form, but Virat Kohli has not found his touch as yet this IPL , with total 249 runs from 14 matches.
Challengers only have a misfiring Zaheer Khan as the pace spearhead.
There is enough firepower in the batting for both the sides, butDelhihold the edge as far as the bowling is concerned, given thatDelhihave spinner bowlers such as Shahbaz Nadeem and Pawan Negi in their ranks.
Team:-
Bangalore:-Chris Gayle, Tillakaratne Dilshan, Virat Kohli, Saurabh Tiwary, AB de Villiers, Mayank Agarwal, Vinay Kumar, Zaheer Khan, Prasanth Parameswaran, Harshal Patel, Muttiah Muralitharan
Delhi:- David Warner, Unmukt Chand, Mahela Jayawardena, Naman Ojha, Ross Taylor, Venugopal Rao, Irfan Pathan, Andre Russell, Umesh Yadav, Varun Aaron, Pawan Negi
